Researchers say work is progressing on a Fentanyl vaccine that could help prevent relapses in addicts.

A group from the University of Houston is leading the way on the research for the vaccine, which could block fentanyl’s ability to enter a person’s brain and stop the “high” it provides.

The DEA says agents have taken more than 50.6 million fentanyl-laced fake prescription pills off the streets, according to WSBT, as well as more than 10,000 pounds of fentanyl powder off the streets.

The drug is considered a major factor in the country’s overdose epidemic. The vaccine could be an important tool to fight back against relapse, which affects around 80 percent of those dependent on opioids.

No side effects have been discovered in the research so far.

How about Dopey Joe just close the border for a while. How about you stupid people stop taking poison. Will the new “vaccine” be as bad as the Covid “vaccine?”

We spend too much time and effort fighting natural selection.

And Slacker is correct, this is a direct result of the Democrat “open border” policies.
