Two men arrested in connection to string of armed robberies across South Bend

Two young men have been arrested and charged in connection with a string of armed robberies across South Bend.

Over the past several weeks, the South Bend Police Major Crimes Unit has been investigating multiple armed robberies targeting both individuals and businesses.

Through an extensive investigation and the processing of evidence, 18-year-old Quadir Quiroz and 20-year-old Tavian Logan were identified as suspects in at least one of these cases, which continue to be investigated.

Quiroz and Logan were arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 31. Officers recovered three firearms in the course of the apprehension, including a firearm with a switch and another firearm that was reported stolen.

Quiroz is charged with two counts of Armed Robbery, Auto Theft and Resisting Law Enforcement. Logan is charged with two counts of Armed Robbery and Auto Theft.

The two men are currently being held at the St. Joseph County Jail. Despite the arrests and charges, investigations surrounding the armed robberies are still ongoing.

More criminals and weapons of their trade were taken off the streets of South Bend. Crime won’t come down in the city limits of South Bend when the parents of these men, raise their children to have no values or responsibilities. I wonder how long these two men will be back on the streets doing the same line of work ?
