Applications open for South Bend’s Home Repair Program

Applications are now being accepted for South Bend’s Home Repair Program .

It’s a grant program for eligible homeowners with homes located in target areas. Some repairs that may be eligible for assistance are new roofs or furnaces.

Eligible households must meet income qualifications and must be enrolled in the City of South Bend Utility Assistance Program at the time of application.

A pre-screening form can be submitted online on the City of South Bend website.

Those who meet initial requirements will receive an application and will be provided assistance on a first come – first served basis.

Another giant HUD money waster. I’m glad the working class can buy roofs and furnaces for the non-working class. Socialism at its finest!

I just wanted to say that I was so impressed with South Bend’s Home Repair Program! The application process was straightforward and the information provided was incredibly helpful. This program has been a huge help in getting my home up to code.
