Illinois-based medical device company expanding into Kosciusko County

An Illinois-based orthopedic-related company plans to build its first Indiana location in Warsaw by next summer.

Banner Service Corporation will spend $6.3 million to construct a state-of-the-art 43,000-square-foot material processing center at the Warsaw Technology Park, according to a news release from the Indiana Economic Development Corporation.

The Development Corporation confirmed that the company plans to break ground Sept. 1. Banner Medical is expected to begin production by June 2016 and could eventually create 76 new jobs by 2019.

Indiana offered Banner Medical up to $725,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $25,000 in training grants based on the company’s job creation plans.
