15 vehicles shot at with BB gun during vandalism spree in Mishawaka on Friday night, police say

Police are searching for suspects who used a BB gun to shoot out the windows of several vehicles in Mishawaka on Friday night, Sept. 25.

Fifteen vehicles were damaged by BB gun shots on Spring Street and Seventh Street between 8:30 and 9:30 p.m., Lt. Tim Williams with the Mishawaka Police Department said.

Four suspects were riding in a newer red pickup truck down the street while at least one suspect fired a BB gun, hitting the vehicles, Williams said. The truck had an extended cab. Two people were in the front and two were in the back. One of the suspects wore a baseball cap backwards.

No injuries were reported.
