Girl Scout cookies are piled up and unsold, thanks to COVID

One of the traditions hit hardest by COVID-19 is also one of the most delicious.

The Girl Scouts announced Monday that they have 15 million boxes of unsold cookies from 2020, a problem they’ve never faced before.

Due to the pandemic many troops across the country canceled their in-person sales and booths to help stop the spread of the virus.

This fundraising shortfall — roughly $60 million — will have impacts on a lot of the programs the Girl Scouts enjoy each year. The organization says many of those cookies will be donated, and possibly sold to different institutions to try and make up some of the losses.

I’m sure it has nothing to do with the Girl Scouts caving to the woke mob and pulling their tweet congratulating Amy Coney Barret for becoming a Supreme Court Justice in October of 2020. I’m sure that most of the people buying those overpriced cookies in the name of charity were not conservatives, and I’m sure that those same conservatives still support GSUSA after their adventures in woke liberalism. I’m sure that those cookies never sold purely because of COVID, and not because the Girl Scouts became yet another idiot organization that caved and inspired a boycott by the majority of the population.

I’m also sure the same thing absolutely did NOT happen to Kelloggs, Nike, Dicks, Levis, Target, Coke, and a slew of other poorly run corporate disasters.

Suuure.
