A Shipshewana man accused of causing a deadly crash received a continuance for his jury trial.

Cameron Woolf allegedly had marijuana and cocaine in his system when his passenger, Adam Maxson-Jones, was killed in a car crash last November.

Police reports say Woolf was traveling south on County Road 15 and entered the intersection at County Road 32, pulling right in front of a Jeep Wrangler that struck Woolf’s passenger side.

Maxson-Jones was taken to Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Woolf was charged with causing death while operating a motor vehicle.

Woolf recently posted bond and is said to be working to save money for a crash analytics professional to study the crash.

His trial was scheduled for November 6 but has been continued to June 17 to allow for the study.
