One person killed, another critically injured after Mishawaka house fire

One person has died, and another is in critical condition after a house fire in Mishawaka.

The fire happened around 4 a.m. on Saturday, Sep. 6, on West Jefferson Boulevard.

Firefighters say one person died at the scene, a second person was taken to a hospital, and a third person was safely rescued from the home.

Crews are still investigating the cause of the blaze.
