Former Goshen School Board candidate Andrea Johnson has been convicted on two counts after a jury trial in Elkhart County.
Jurors found she filed a fraudulent report and accepted a campaign donation under someone else’s name. The case stemmed from a 2022 campaign mailing that also involved several sitting school board members and former Mayor Allan Kauffman, though Johnson was the only one to go to trial.
She remains free on bond. Sentencing is scheduled for late January.
