Police have arrested a suspect after a man was found dead at a home in South Bend.

Officers were called to the home in the 900 block of Fuerbringer St. around 9 a.m. Monday, according to ABC 57.

They got a call about an unconscious man needing medical help. Upon arrival, officers discovered 62-year-old Ronald Bacsa dead inside the home.

Metro Homicide investigators talked to several people and arrested a suspect, 38-year-old Joshua Walker, who lives at the home where the victim was found. He was booked into the St. Joseph County Jail on a preliminary charge of murder.

An autopsy is expected to be conducted Tuesday to determine Bacsa’s cause of death.
