Second body found in Leesburg quarry after ice fisherman's body found Sunday

A second body has been found in the Leesburg quarry where an ice fisherman was found dead Sunday night, Feb. 21.

The body of 41-year-old Allen Stattler of Dowagiac, Mich., was found Monday, Feb. 22, according to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources

Authorities began searching for Stattler after the body of 29-year-old Dustin Reaker of Bremen, was pulled out of the quarry Sunday night. 

The DNR believes the men were ice fishing when one of them fell through the ice Friday night, Feb. 19. The other man fell in while trying to rescue his friend.

Ice fishing equipment was spotted near a large hole on Sunday.
