Michigan City woman found dead at Barker Woods Nature Preserve identified

Officers are still uncertain how a Michigan City woman died after her body was found at Barker Woods Nature Preserve earlier in April.

Constance Everly, 63, was found April 9 by a couple walking their dog through the preserve, the South Bend Tribune reported. Investigators used dental records to identify her.

Everly was reported missing in January. An autopsy showed she may have died from exposure, but police are still waiting for toxicology reports to return.
