It was a long night for South Bend Fire crews called to a house fire in the 100 block of East Fox Street.
The call came in around 9 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28, from neighbors who said the home was fully engulfed in flames, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

Crews had the fire under control after about 30 minutes, but they remained on scene for a few hours, afterward, to douse hot spots, ABC 57 reported.
