It’s a guilty verdict for one of three men charged with killing a man during a botched robbery attempt in South Bend.

Tyler Hurtle was shot to death back in the 4400 block of Meadow Lane in October 2016.

Last week, Sir Jackquarius JaQuan Lloyd was found guilty of murder, felony murder, attempted armed robbery and a firearm sentencing enhancement.

ALloyd admitted to inmates that he ditched the murder weapon in Leeper Park. Police recovered the gun and it matched casings found at the scene of the crime, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

Two other men, Presley Jermaine Brown and Caleb Smith are also charged. Lloyd will be sentenced in April, ABC 57 reported.
