Three teenagers were injured in a rollover crash on County Road 17 in Elkhart County.

Sheriff’s Deputies say a 16 year-old was driving a Jeep south on 17 just north of County Road 44 west of New Paris and lost control on gravel. The vehicle carrying the teens, ages 16, 17 and 18, went off the road and rolled over once before landing in a field.

One passenger was airlifted to South Bend Memorial with a chest injury. The other two were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Goshen General.

A ticket was issued for speeding to the 16-year-old driver.
