Parents of students at Benton Harbor High School are concerned about violent incidents at the school that have gone viral.
The school year is only two weeks old, and already there have been fights that have found a large audience online.
Schools CEO Dr. Robert Herrera told 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57 that he plans on starting a violence prevention program, adding a third lunch to lessen the number of students on break at the same time, and work with the Benton Harbor police to assist in their efforts.
Dr. Herrera, who was hired to run the schools in June, met with the police on Tuesday to discuss options.
