Indiana’s 25th annual “State of the Child” report has been released.

The report suggests that the state is making improvements in education, but there are still concerns about child abuse.

The report from the Indiana Youth Institute says the Hoosier State ranks 14th for education, which is a huge jump from 36th in 2012.

Indiana sits near the middle of the 50 states in most other areas, and is 28th for overall child well-being.

However, the state ranks 43rd for infant mortaility, and is near the bottom, ranked 48th, for child maltreatment.
