St. Joseph County tornado measured an EF-2

It was an EF-2 tornado.

That, from the National Weather Service regarding the storm that slammed into St. Joseph County Sunday night.

The storm formed south of US-20 and moved north, lifting just southeast of the intersection of Ironwood and Inwood.

It packed winds of 115 to 125 miles per hour at its peak, and lasted about 10 minutes. The path of the storm was 2 miles long.
