Woman arrested after police chase on U.S. 20 in LaPorte County

A woman was arrested after leading a police chase on U.S. 20 in LaPorte County.

The pursuit took place on Monday night, Sep. 21.

The woman, Amber Pace, was arrested on multiple offenses after she took off from the scene of a traffic stop initiated by a LaPorte County Deputy.

ABC-57 News reports the pursuit continued on foot after the woman’s car struck a tire deflation device and struck a concrete median on Michigan Boulevard.

Officers caught up to her and took her into custody — on charges, including escape and resisting law enforcement and criminal recklessness.
