(Fox News) Congress was locked down and lawmakers evacuated on Wednesday in unprecedented and shocking scenes after protesters stormed Capitol Hill as lawmakers met to certify the Electoral College votes. By 6 p.m. the U.S. Capitol building was declared “secured” by authorities.
President Trump has repeatedly charged for two months that the presidential election was “rigged.” Protesters attended a rally outside the White House before descending on the Capitol. Protesters from a pro-Trump rally — where President Trump spoke — outside the White House then descended on the Capitol to protest the certification of results, before clashing with police.
Authorities soon evacuated lawmakers and the D.C. mayor declared a 6 p.m. curfew amid escalating violence in the Halls of Congress that saw police draw their weapons. Trump has since called for “peace” and for protesters to “go home.”
A woman who was shot during the unrest died after being taken to the hospital.

Mike Pence didn’t have the courage to do what should have been done to protect our Country and our Constitution, giving States a chance to certify a corrected set of facts, not the fraudulent or inaccurate ones which they were asked to previously certify. USA demands the truth!

Every American has the right to exercise their First Amendment rights, but violence and destruction are never the answer.
Stop these attacks on our country now and keep the protests peaceful.
Grateful to the U.S. Capitol Police for protecting everyone in our Capitol.

We’ve had enough of these libs, dems, commies destroying our nation!!!
Walorski did vote against accepting the Arizona electors at least, so I’ll give her credit there.
That said, this was not “violent and destructive” except by the Antifa plants in the crowd. Even with those masked morons, it couldn’t hold a candle to the fiery destruction wrought for the last 10 months by BLM and Antifa. Let’s not have two standards Jackie, one will do just fine.
