A soon to be Elkhart High School graduate has received an award for something that very few people can claim in their academic careers. Senior Hannah Goldsborough has never missed a day for school…ever…all the way back to kindergarten. It was something that she first realized was a record in sixth grade when she received an award from Woodland Elementary for her perfect attendance, which continued into middle school, and four years after that she still hasn’t missed a day.
The record does include virtual classes for snow days and COVID-19. She tells The Elkhart Truth that it wasn’t always easy, but she got through it; and all while playing Volleyball and leading the junior ROTC.
Hannah says she hopes to keep her streak going at the next level. She will attend Ancilla College and study Agribusiness
