Michigan City man sentenced to 168 months in prison for drug conviction

It’s a 168 month long prison sentenced for a Michigan City man who struck a deal on a drug charge.

Edward Sanders, 48, pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute controlled substances.

According to court documents, in January of 2020, Sanders was the passenger in a car and police found Sanders to be in possession of heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, meth, marijuana, and a revolver.

Sanders was also sentenced as a career offender based on his two prior convictions for dealing cocaine.
