The jobless rate continues to drop, locally. It’s at 2.7% in St. Joseph County, down four-tenths from September.
In Elkhart County, it’s down to 1.8%, down two-tenths from the month before.
In our area, LaGrange County had the lowest unemployment rate, at 1.5%.
The statewide average is at 2.5% according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
