Michiana Crime Stoppers increasing rewards regarding cases involving firearms

Michiana Crime Stoppers is increasing the amount of money it rewards to anonymous tipsters regarding cases involving firearms.

Their new pilot program, called “Victory Over Violence” aims to curb gun violence in the community creates an increased and automatic reward of $1,000 for tips leading to the solving or arrest of felony crimes committed with a firearm.

The reward includes crimes such as armed robberies, aggravated assaults and attempted murder.

The payout is in addition to work in conjunction with our other recent announcement of increasing the reward payout for eligible homicide tips to $2,500.

Interesting. I didn’t know Crime Stoppers was affiliated with the DNC, but the timing of this change to coincide with Biden’s newest talking points is kinda suspect.
