A man was arrested for trying to meet up with a 13-year-old boy.

Mishawaka police were contacted to catch online predators in January.

The police department set up an account on an online dating app, called Grindr, as a 13-year-old boy.

Police say that the man, Glen Buckhout, set up a time to meet with the boy at a store on Grape Road.

According to reports, Buckhout described sexually explicit activities that he wanted to do.

At the store, Buckhout came face to face with authorities and allegedly denied trying to meet with the boy.

ABC 57 News reports that, in May, Buckhout admitted to what he wanted to do with the 13 year old.

He also told officials that it was his first time trying to meet up with a boy.

He has been charged with child solicitation.
