There’s a recall Banana Beach sunscreen.
During an internal system check, three batches of the sunscreen were found to contain trace levels of benzene, which is known to cause cancer.
The recall is for 6 ounce aerosol cans of Banana Boat Hair & Scalp Spray SPF 30. They have expiration dates of December 2022, February 2023, and April 2024.
You’re advised to stop using the product immediately and return it to where you bought it for a refund.
The affected products are: Lot Code: 20016AF; Expiration Date: December 2022 Lot Code: 20084BF; Expiration Date: February 2023 Lot Code: 21139AF; Expiration Date: April 2024

Please correct this story – it is Banana BOAT, not Banana Beach.

How can we trust you as journalists if you can’t even get the name of a recall product right? What other ‘news’ are you getting wrong?
