Leaders of the City of South Bend are celebrating the decade of 311.

According to Mayor James Mueller, over 1.2 million calls from residents have been answered by the 311 team.

Every city department has a partnership with 311, and requests are serviced by the call center in both English and Spanish.

Under the Mueller administration, 311 further expanded to include a launch of online service requests and providing application intake services for resident programs.

Residents can contact 311 by calling the number “3-1-1” within city limits or by visiting 311.southbendin.gov. Residents can also see a dashboard of service requests coming in through 311 at https://southbendin.gov/customer-service-dashboard/.
