The state’s former top educator was in South Bend on Monday speaking about what she feels is best moving forward when it comes to educating young Hoosiers.
Dr. Jennifer McCormick spoke about her experiences as the state’s superintendent of public instruction under Gov. Eric Holcomb’s first term.
That position was absorbed into the now current Secretary of Education role appointed by the governor. McCormick was a Republican while working in the Holcomb administration.
She is considering a run for governor as a Democrat.

No, she was never a Republican. RINO at best, but probably a Democrat all along.
