Suspects sought in Notre Dame Police-involved shooting

Indiana State Police are investigating shots fired involving a Notre Dame Police officer and two burglary suspects.

The gunfire happened around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 4, in the 1300 block of Corby Blvd.

The officer made contact with the suspects and police say gunfire was exchanged. The two suspects were last seen getting into a black colored SUV and taking off.

It’s believed that nobody was actually struck by the gunfire.
