You can expect lane closures on U.S. 20 in LaPorte County starting on, or after, Tuesday, April 2.

The work is being done between County Road 400-West and Springville Road. During phase one, the westbound lanes of U.S. 20 will be closed for construction, and the eastbound lanes will be converted to two-way traffic.

The lane closures will be in place through July.

The project includes roadway widening and resurfacing, a new traffic signal and drainage improvements.
