Elkhart Beltone and the Salvation Army of Elkhart are teaming up to launch the Hear2End Hunger Food Drive.

It’s the second year of the effort, which is part of a nationwide campaign involving 400 Beltone centers to fight food insecurity while raising awareness about hearing health.

The Elkhart office on Bristol Street will serve as a drop-off site for non-perishable food donations. In return, donors can receive a free hearing screening or $1,000 off a pair of hearing aids.

Nutrition plays a role in hearing health and can help prevent age-related hearing loss, emphasizing the importance of food access and hearing care.
