Man injured after train hits semi

A man suffered serious injuries after a train hit a semi in Kosciusko County.
Police say it happened shortly before 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at the intersection of State Roads 25 and 19.
A 60 year-old Howe man was driving the semi, which became stuck on the tracks after he missed a turn.
A Norfolk Southern train hit the semi, causing the truck to burst into flames.
The man was flown to a hospital, and the crash is being investigated by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
