Man arrested after allegedly stealing over $6 thousand worth of ice cream

A man was arrested in northwest Indiana after police say he stole $6,200 worth of ice cream from delivery trucks.
Christopher Stewart was charged with theft greater than $750, theft with prior conviction, and failure of duty after being linked to the thefts through surveillance video and vehicle records.
Stewart admitted to taking the ice cream and selling it.
