Hit-and-run crash suspect sought after teen injured

A teenage girl was hospitalized with head injuries after a hit-and-run crash late Monday night in South Bend.

The girl and two friends was riding her bike and waling with two friends at about 11 p.m. on Hepler Street when a car hit her, our news partners ABC 57. The girl was dragged by the vehicle, then the driver sped away.

It’s not clear how seriously the girl was injured.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a white four-door passenger car that may have damage to the front passenger side. The driver was described as a white man.
