A Bremen man faces up to 65 years in prison after pleading guilty to the murder of a 15-year-old Bremen girl.

Fabian Rubio, 20, was also charged with sexual misconduct with a minor and abuse of a corpse in connection to the 2014 murder of Desi Jones, but those charges will be dropped, the South Bend Tribune reported.

Jones’ body was found in a wooded area near her home the same day her family reported her missing in December 2014. Investigators found Jones’ blood on items in Rubio’s truck and on the truck itself.
