Several people are expected to face federal and state charges after Indiana State Police and Drug Enforcement Agency agents raided three homes in South Bend on Wednesday morning.

Search warrants were executed just after 6 a.m. at 205 E. Victoria Street, 1514 Fellows Street and 526 S. Jackson Street, Indiana State Police said.

Investigators found methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a handgun, a shotgun, an AR-15 style rifle and ammunition in the homes.

The drug bust was the result of a five month investigation into powder and crack cocaine trafficking in South Bend.

It’s not clear how many suspects are involved in the drug bust or if any were arrested. The suspects have not yet been identified.

The raids were separate from the arrest of a suspected heroin dealer in South Bend on Wednesday.
