A woman walked from an SUV to a stretcher and was taken to a nearby hospital after a train hit the vehicle in Goshen on Thursday morning, July 28.

The crash happened on Ninth Street near the College Avenue crossing, according to our news partners The Elkhart Truth.

The train hit the driver’s side, which sustained most of the damage.

It’s not clear if the woman was the driver of the vehicle or if anyone else was inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
