Lane restrictions could slow traffic on Grape Road on Tuesday, Wednesday

Drivers who use Grape Road in Mishawaka may want to plan for a few extra minutes of travel time on Tuesday, Sept. 20 and Wednesday, Sept. 21, due to  multiple lane restrictions between Edison Road and Cleveland Road.

The restrictions will start around 7 a.m. on Tuesday for gas main maintenance, according to a news release from the City of Mishawaka.

The northbound curb lane on Grape Road will be restricted between Edison Road and Day Road while the southbound curb lane will be restricted from Cleveland Road to University Drive and Douglas Road to Edison Lakes Parkway.

Access drives to all businesses and intersecting streets will be maintained during the entire process.

Weather permitting, all restrictions will be removed at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
