An elderly man who went missing from the Chicago suburbs turned up in Michiana this week.

The 83-year-old was spotted by a passing motorist, south of Elkhart and west of Goshen, according to the Elkhart Truth.

He was parked on C.R. 32 east of S. R. 19 Tuesday evening. Elkhart County Sheriff’s Captain Jim Bradberry told The Elkhart Truth that the man appeared disoriented but emergency personnel examined him and said he didn’t appear to be suffering from any medical conditions.

Police were able to contact the man’s family through his ID and license plate. His family even drove out to Elkhart to bring him home.
