Eric Holcomb has selected two leaders from Michiana to aid him in his transition to the governor’s office.

Mayor Blair Milo of LaPorte and Bradley Company vice president Rudy Yakym III were present with Holcomb at a press conference Wednesday. They’re on his advisory team for his transition, according to ABC 57.

Yakym calls it an “honor and a privilege” to be on the team, noting that Holcomb wanted “geographic diversity” in his board selections.

The board will help Holcomb with policy, legislative agendas, how he’ll run his administration, and other needs. The board will next meet for a planning meeting on Nov. 21.
