Two arrested in Leesburg synthetic marijuana bust

Kosciusko County deputies arrested a man on drug charges after tracking down a woman who was wanted on some outstanding warrants.

Police tracked down 22-year-old Sarah Elizabeth Powell of Syracuse at a home in Leesburg Thursday night, When they made their way inside the home, they also found items associated with dealing in “spice,” otherwise known as synthetic marijuana, as well as 150 grams of the substance, according to a press release.

They arrested Powell and 36-year-old Greg DeBoard of Goshen, who was also in the house, for felony possession of a synthetic cannabinoid. Powell was also arrested on three failure-to-appear warrants.
