Suspect in high speed chase hospitalized after collision

The suspect in a high speed chase in Elkhart County was seriously injured after colliding with another vehicle.

It happened on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 7, at County Road 17 and County Road 46.

The chase lasted about 10 minutes. Speeds topped 100 miles per hour during the pursuit, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

The suspect was ejected from the vehicle due to the force of the collision and was airlifted to the hospital, ABC 57 reported.

The woman who was driving the other vehicle was also taken to the hospital as a precaution.
