A 30-year-old Goshen woman is recovering from cuts to her head in an apparent stabbing.

It happened in the 100 block of Cottage Avenue around 6:20 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, according to the Goshen Police Department.

The incident is believed to have stemmed from an earlier verbal domestic dispute that police were called to on North 5th Street, Goshen Police reported.

The suspect, described only as a female who the victim knew, took off after the stabbing. No arrest had been announced as of early Saturday morning.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
