South Bend Police SWAT team called to scene of home south of Notre Dame

South Bend Police’s SWAT team has cleared the scene of a home south of Notre Dame.

Police were trying to get a person to come out of their home near the intersection of E. Madison and Walsh Streets, according to ABC 57.

Police were serving an arrest warrant on a person wanted for an armed robbery in Elkhart County. However, the suspect was not even at the residence. A man and woman were inside, but not the suspect police sought.

No other details about the suspect were released.
