Civil rights activist Diane Nash to speak at Notre Dame Tuesday

Noted civil rights activist Diane Nash will speak Tuesday at the University of Notre Dame.

Nash will speak at the McCartan Courtroom in the Eck Hall of Law from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

An intregal part of the desegregation and voting rights movements of the early 1960s, Nash received an honorary Doctor of Law degree from Notre Dame last year.

She will relate her experiences at the epicenter of the civil rights struggle in the US, and how those lessons might relate to the renewed challenges facing our country today.
