Two hospitalized with serious injuries after crash near Milford

Two people were taken to the hospital in serious condition after a head-on collision outside of Milford Thursday morning.

The crash happened just after 5:45 a.m. on C.R. 1350 N. west of S. R. 15, according to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department.

A black pickup truck was hit head-on by a Jeep. It’s believed the Jeep skidded on the ice-covered roadway and veered into the oncoming path of the truck.

A 31-year-old Milford woman was extracted from her vehicle. She as taken to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne with a serious leg injury and facial lacerations.

The other driver, a 60-year-old man from New Paris, was taken to Goshen General Hospital with a severe arm injury.
