URBANA, Ill. (AP) — Formal charges have been filed against an Indiana man who was arrested after two bombs, a machine gun and his son were allegedly found in his truck.

Jeremiah Bridges of Greencastle, Indiana was arraigned Friday on two counts of unlawful use of weapons.

The 39-year-old Bridges was also charged with endangering a child for allegedly leaving his 12-year-old son in the truck’s passenger compartment with loaded guns.

Champaign County prosecutors say Rantoul police found the 12-year-old after they were called Wednesday to a business reporting an unattended child.

The News-Gazette in Champaign reports police found two loaded pistols, a loaded assault-style rifle, a machine gun, ammunition, a U.S. Army “improvised Munitions Handbook,” an explosive device, a bottle of black powder and body armor.

Assistant Public Defender Benjamin Dyer said Bridges is employed as a welder in Indiana. Judge John Kennedy set Bridges’ bond at $750,000.
