Police in Bridgman are investigating what they’re calling a possible murder-suicide.

Officers were asked to conduct a welfare check at a home in the 9700 block of Baldwin Road at about 12:45 p.m. Saturday.

Inside, they found two people dead of gunshot wounds. They have been identified as 63-year-old Donald Ackerman and 67-year-old Pamela Ackerman.

Autopsies will be performed in the next few days to help determine exactly what happened.
