Drug trafficking suspicion leads to drug bust just west of South Bend

A variety of drugs were among the items seized in a drug bust Thursday night.

The Metro SWAT team raided a home on Fillmore Road just west of South Bend city limits.

The warrant was served after multiple reports of drug trafficking taking place at the home. Once inside, their suspicions were allegedly confirmed as they seized over two pounds of crystal meth, marijuana, cocaine, and heroin.

In addition, police also say they found two handguns, a sawed off shotgun, and $1,500 in cash. Three people were arrested.
