Mishawaka man now facing federal charges for child porn possession

A Mishawaka man accused of possessing and making child pornography is now facing federal charges.

The original eight counts that Matthew Ridenour was facing have been dropped as his case is being transferred to federal court. He’s facing new federal chages of transportation, distribution, and possession of child pornography.

Court documents say Ridenour was found with hundreds images of child pornography and beastiality, with even more videos. ABC 57 also says he’s accused of making videos during online video chats with two different underage boys.

Ridenour was arrested in July of this syear. His next date is court hasn’t been set yet.
